CÉRÉMONIE DU LEVER DU JOUR: 104e anniversaire de la Bataille d'Arras
Vendredi 9 avril à partir de 5h30 - Carrière Wellington, rue Arthur Delétoille
En raison de la crise sanitaire liée à la lutte contre le COVID-19 que le monde entier traverse, la cérémonie annuelle du lever du jour au pied du mur mémorial de la Carrière Wellington a été annulée.
Pour commémorer le 104e anniversaire du déclenchement de la Bataille d’Arras, un hommage virtuel a été rendu tout au long de la journée du 9 avril aux milliers de soldats qui ont combattu lors de ces sanglants combats.

The site of the Wellington Tunnels is taking advantage of its reopening, after the confinement, to offer new experiences, more intimate and moving, by introducing a special welcoming formula, exclusively reserved for small groups from 2 to 6 people (same family or tribe.)

THE WELLINGTON TUNNELS
An immersion 20 meters under the ground, in the bowels of history
Enter one of the most secret places of military history, and discover a real underground town, where more than 20.000 soldiers of the Commonwealth prepared the largest surprise attack of World War I.
From Wednesday to Friday: Closed in the morning. From 2.00 pm to 6 p.m
Saturdays and Sundays : From 9.45 am to 12.30 pm, from 2.00 pm to 6 p.m
Exceptional closure at 4.00pm on 24th and 31st December.
Closed 25th December, 1st January, and from 4th January to 22th January 2021 included.
Tours are *always* private and guided.

Every year, on 9th April, at 6.30 am (French time), a tribute is paid to the soldiers of the Commonwealth, at the foot of the Battle of Arras memorial wall. This international ceremony is open to all.
